Dr. Andrea Kim serves as Vice President, Nonclinical Development for Evommune. She has over 20 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry experience leading nonclinical development strategies from discovery through marketing in support of various therapeutic areas including dermatology, hematology, inflammation, oncology, and ophthalmology. Prior to joining Evommune in 2022, Andrea led Toxicology at Global Blood Therapeutics (acquired by Pfizer, Inc.). Prior to that role, she served as Head of Preclinical Development at RAPT Therapeutics (acquired by GSK) and previously held nonclinical development leadership roles at Theravance Biopharma and Allergan (acquired by AbbVie). Andrea earned a Ph.D. in Toxicology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine. She completed postdoctoral training at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Andrea is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology and serves as a Councilor of the American College of Toxicology.
